Seeds

Seeds are widespread throughout the world, and the origins of those grown by man are to be found in different regions of the planet. Flax has been domesticated in the Mediterranean areas while the Pumpkin, the Sunflower and the Chia seeds come from Central America. Hemp and Poppy are born spontaneously in the regions between the Fertile Crescent and the Indian sub-continent. Finally, the origins of the Sesame are quite uncertain, since it has been spreading for thousands of years in all regions of the tropical zone.
